Lovey Dovey is Owl I Talk About

Soooo, for this title, I was trying to think of a way to make a title that rhymed with owl and lovey without being too long. There's the rub: without being too long. I probably sat in front of this computer for ten minutes thinking of something awesome to write.

Meh. It's the thought that counts, right? ;P

This li'l baby was made using (ALMOST THE LAST OF MY) Red Heart Super Saver! It's basically a big blanket square with a squishy owl face. It only took me about two days to finish!

Boom, Boom, Fishy, Fishy Three is Done!

YEAH! I finished the third fish! It's so cute and tiny!
Anyway, this pattern is super easy. It's fun. By the time I finished the first fish, I could've probably made the second and third fish without looking at the instructions! (I didn't do that, but it's a nice thought.) ;)

One Fish, Two Fish-

Like I said a couple of days ago, I've been working on some little goldfish for my booth. By the time this blog post goes up, I'll be done crocheting the third and final goldfish, but right now, I just have two.
I'm going to start off by saying that they are super easy to make! It's pretty much instant satisfaction, with one jumping off of the hook every day.
My only problem is: I'm going to have about one third of a skein of this bright orange yarn once I'm done with the third goldfish.
WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS ORANGE YARN?!? Feel free to give me ideas, because, currently, I have none.

Here is fishy numero uno curled up with Artemis, my kitten.

This is fish *whispers* hashtag two, fresh off of my hook. And, contrary to popular belief, I'm not holding him with my foot. ;)

Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat, Puppy Dog...

"My cat looks like a shoe," was the first thing I said to my mom when I finished knitting its body.
"Yes. Yes, it does," Mom replied.

And, I've got to say, it DID look like a shoe. A pumpkin colored shoe for someone with REALLY wide feet. *gag*
But, once I attached the whiskers to the cat's face, and gave it some button eyes, it looked a lot more like a cat.

It looks kinda like a cat that has a spider on its face, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, it's cute, it's squishy, and it will be getting some goldfish companions pretty soon. ;P

Forest Park Cowl

Let's be clear on one thing.
I had no intention to make a billion cowls this year.
     Really.
But, sometimes, destiny (or my hyperactive knitting needles; you decide) has a different plan.
I saw this beautiful pattern on Ravelry and was just like, "WHAT?!?" to my cat while he looked discouragingly at me, like he always does. Obviously, since I was so star-struck, I had to make it.

Believe it or not, but there is actually something even better about this cowl than it just being fabulous!
*leans in closer to whisper* I used some more of my Red Heart stash yarn.
