How to: Tunisian Purl Stitch

The Tunisian Purl Stitch (tps) looks a lot like the purl side of a knitted garment. 'Nuff said. :)

First, complete a forward and return pass.

Now move the yarn from the back of the garment to the front.

Insert your hook into the first vertical loop.

Wrap the yarn around your hook and pull it through the loop.

You have completed one tps! After a few rounds, your work will look like this.

Note:
I wouldn't try doing a k1 p1 pattern with Tunisian crochet because the results are rather (*gag*) disastrous!
