How to: Picot Stitch

The picot (pronounced pē-kō) stitch is mainly used for the edge of garments. There are lots of different ways to make it, so I'm going to show what is hopefully the most common version.

Sc the stitch next to your hook.

     Now chain three.

Sc the stitch next to your previous sc.

You have now made one picot!

Now sc a few stitches to separate your picots. I did three.

Continue doing this across the round and it will look like this.
